Generally, somebodyisfromhere.com likes the idea of
calling a city what the local languages call it, but when
"Munchen" sounds like a friggen' donut and "Munich"
conjures up images of a badass Eric Bana movie, he
finds himself siding with ze English version.
Running a travel site is surely about explaining trips that
have already taken place. However, it's also about
preparing others for trips in the future.
Somebodyisfromhere.com lists some memories of his
trip to Oktoberfest a few years back so people making the
trip this year will know what to expect.

So, too much debauchery in Munich? Want to do
something respectful? Salzburg is just about an hour
and a half train ride away from Munich and there is
something for everybody.
Salzburg is gorgeous from the moment the plane lands.
Even the airport enjoys a view of mountains.
Once inside the city, Salzburg is all things to all people. It
has museums, history, views, dining, shopping, and
nightlife. As if kissing my ass, it even has built-in pop
culture references.

With new content weekly, Somebodyisfromhere.com takes a look at travel albeit from the perspective of somebody who probably watched a little too much TV as a kid (or yesterday). The site doubles as a venue in which you can share stories or pictures from your vacations because, let's face it, your friends are sick of hearing about it.
